Dr Brewu joined the team at Cardiac Clinic in August 2008.

Dr. Brewu is well known for his work with  the Ministry of Health at the Princess Marina Hospital, Gaborone, where, at the time of my departure from the MoH in May 2008, he was a Senior Consultant Physician and Head of the Medical Department, PMH.

Dr. Brewu is a General Physician who has worked extensively in Germany, Ghana and in the last 10 years, exclusively in Botswana.

His Specialist Skills include:

1. Management of Diabetes Mellitus and diabetic complications (including
   Chronic Kidney Diseases, Renal Failure,Renal Anemias etc).
2. Follow up and management/care of patients with ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis,
3. Specialist Management of Hypertension and complications of Hypertension(CCF,CVA,MI,Renal Failure etc)
4. Severe/complicated Pulmonal Infections such as Pneumonia, Atypical Pneumonias, Pulmonal and Extrapulmonal Tuberculosis, Asthma and other Chronic Obstructive and Restrictive Pulmonal Diseases including Pneumoconiosis.
5. Management of HIV/AIDS and Opportunistic Infections, STD's, Viral Hepatitis and  hepatitides of other etiologies.
6. Diagnosis and Management of Diseases of the GI-Tract.

In the near future when equipment is available, Dr Brewu hopes to offer endoscopic diagnostic procedures as well.
